Julie is an Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor at Healing Legacy Counseling. She graduated summa cum laude from Ursuline College with a strong passion for helping individuals heal through creative expression and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Her clinical specialty is Eco Art Therapy, an integrative approach that combines art, nature, mindfulness, and psychotherapy to support emotional healing and personal growth. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques into treatment to help clients build coping skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience.
Julie works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anger management concerns, and a variety of other mental health challenges. She believes therapy should provide a safe, compassionate, and empowering space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen their identity, and move toward healing.
Her therapeutic style is collaborative, creative, and client-centered, honoring each person’s unique story while fostering growth, connection, and lasting change.
Julie sees clients on Fridays 9 am to 6pm and Saturdays 9 am to noon.
